John Kealy

Partner, Chief Technology Officer

John Kealy is a dynamic technology leader with over two decades of experience in web technology and technology leadership roles. Currently, he serves as the Chief Technical Officer at FastrackPR, where he focuses on developing and implementing technology strategies and researching emerging technologies. His professional experience includes managing the operation of large-scale web environments. John has a proven track record of implementing transformative digital initiatives. 

John's technical expertise includes significant experience with enterprise content management systems like Drupal and in DevOps. In his current role as CTO, his focus is on applying emerging technologies such as generative AI for content creation, internal search, and search engine optimization.  John is actively involved in the open-source software community, serving as President of the Bay Area Drupal Association and speaking at events such as DrupalCon Portland 2022.Top of Form.

Deanne has 30 years’ experience building key audience awareness for public and private equity companies across the life sciences (biotech, pharmaceutical and devices) through strategic message development, targeted media placement and corporate content.

Her messaging approach involves a deep dive into product and company point-of-differentiation, working with Management to crystalize language chosen to drive audiences to the desired conclusions and action.

For media, she develops strategic comprehensive media relations programs to secure company coverage in key outlets across all company milestones along the lifetime of the company. Past coverage includes The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, NPR, Reuters, Bloomberg, Associated Press, Cheddar, Benzinga, Scientific American, New Scientist, CNN, ABC, CBS, Fox, plus key trade publications and regional news outlets.

For sponsored content, Deanne identifies inflection points that could generate public interest and develops written content around them: CEO/Management blogs, website pieces, sponsored media content, LinkedIn posts. She also captures and creates patient stories that drive new audiences to the product and deepen the connection with  existing audiences.

Deanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Religion, from Whitman College, in Walla Walla, WA, and a Master of Arts in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, in Washington, DC.

Laura Min Jackson

Laura Min Jackson

Laura Min Jackson has provided strategic communications counsel to 40+ organizations encompassing the entire healthcare landscape, including university medical centers, advocacy and health service nonprofits (March of Dimes and ALS Association); Fortune 500 med-tech firms (Abbott, Baxter, Edwards Lifescience and J&J), healthcare payers (United Health Corp. and FHP), diagnostics companies (Beckman Labs and Ortho Clinical Diagnostics) and led the PR account teams for the United Healthcare’s Medicare HMO, Secure Horizons.

Laura earned her MS in Organizational Development from Pepperdine University. Her master’s thesis, which was on the projected shortage of cardiothoracic surgeons, was used by the American Association of Thoracic Surgeons as the basis for their recruiting program. She also served as the public officer for the UC Irvine Medical Center and helped launch its Douglas Wing of the UC Irvine Medical Center.

Her singular focus on strategic positioning creates clear market differentiation to positively change positioning, reputation, and valuation for venture-backed healthcare and consumer wellness brands. Laura’s impeccable track record for taking clients from startup through exit via acquisition or IPO. Notable clients include Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Abbott Medical, Dexcom, Edwards Lifesciences, Ivantis, National Stroke Association, and eyeBrain Medical.

Laura has been teaching in the graduate PR studies program at USC Annenberg since 2008.
